Establishment of "Sambhram" University in Jizzakh

On April 16, 2021, an agreement was signed between the Jizzakh regional administration, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Sambhram Group company, Sambhram University (India) on the main principles of joint actions to establish the Sambhram University in the city of Jizzakh. The Cabinet of Ministers decided to implement the tasks set out in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-6108 dated November 6, 2020 “On measures to develop the spheres of education and science in the new period of development of Uzbekistan” and in order to train highly qualified, competitive personnel in accordance with international requirements and standards in the Jizzakh region, effectively organize scientific and innovative activities, and develop international cooperation, including long-term ties with leading higher educational institutions of foreign countries. To approve the proposal of the Jizzakh regional administration, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the “Sambhram Group” company, “Sambhram” University (India) to establish the “Sambhram” University in the form of a non-state higher education organization in the city of Jizzakh. The Jizzakh regional administration and the “Sambhram Group” company (India) are the founders of the University. The following are defined as the main tasks and areas of activity of the University. Taking into account the prospects and priority tasks of the development of the social sphere and economic sectors of the Jizzakh region, as well as the development trends of modern entrepreneurship, to ensure high-quality training of highly educated personnel in the field of information and communication technologies at the level of international standards; Implementation of educational programs in such areas as information and communication technologies, software development, information systems and computer network management; To introduce advanced foreign experience, modern technologies into the university's educational process, to provide the educational process with modern educational literature and educational resources; To introduce modern pedagogical and information and communication technologies, the latest achievements of science and technology by widely involving qualified professors, teachers, scientists and specialists from Sambhram University (India), as well as leading foreign higher educational institutions; To assist in the implementation of promising projects and innovations in the economic sectors of the Jizzakh region, to implement the results of scientific research and developments conducted based on the existing needs in the region; To develop long-term relations in the fields of education and science with leading higher educational institutions, research centers and business communities of foreign countries, in particular India.
