A competition between higher education institutions in cyber sports was held at Jizzakh Sambhram University.

Jizzakh Sambhram University hosted an inter-university cyber sports competition. The competition, organized on April 20, 2022 at the IT Park of Sambhram University in Jizzakh, brought together students from various higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. The event was held to showcase Sambhram University’s experience in cybersecurity and information technology, as well as to encourage young people to be competitive in this field. A total of 10 teams from Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, and a number of other institutions participated in the competition. Students passed 30 cybersecurity tests, including tasks such as network protection, website attack analysis, and solving encryption problems. Each team consisted of 4 students, and their teamwork and technical skills were tested. According to the results of the competition, the “CyberGuard” team from the Tashkent University of Information Technologies took first place, the “SecureNet” team from the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University took second place, and the “TechShield” team from Sambhram University took third place. The winners were awarded with modern technological equipment and certificates. Speaking at the end of the event, the rector of Sambhram University, Sirojiddin Tovboev, emphasized the importance of the competition in uniting young people in the field of cybersecurity and improving their skills. He also announced plans to hold the competition on an international scale next year. This event was recognized as one of the important steps in IT education at Jizzakh Sambhram University.
