📊 On February 14, 2026, a roundtable discussion titled “Science and women — Towards a Sustainable Society” was organized in connection with the February 11 – International day of women and girls in science. The event aimed to widely promote the role of women in the development of science, their intellectual potential, and their valuable contribution to societal progress. 📝 The roundtable was held in cooperation with the Olima uyushmasi under the O‘zbekiston xotin-qizlar qo‘mitasi, the Jizzax viloyati Oila va xotin-qizlar boshqarmasi, the Jizzax viloyati Olima uyushmasi, and Jizzax Sambhram universiteti. 💡 During the event, participants exchanged views on the scientific research conducted by women scholars, their innovative ideas, and initiatives aimed at encouraging young girls to pursue careers in science. In particular, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Jizzax Sambhram universiteti, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences, Associate Professor Nargiza Saliyeva, actively participated in the discussion and was awarded a commemorative gift in recognition of her valuable contribution to the advancement of science. ⏳ As emphasized during the roundtable, an educated and enlightened woman is the foundation of society and a builder of the future.
