The Educational and Methodological Department is a structure that manages the educational process and implements the goals set out in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education" and the "National Program for Personnel Training". The Educational and Methodological Department has the authority to improve the educational process of the institute on the basis of advanced scientific achievements, provide it with basic educational documents, and summarize the advanced achievements of faculties and departments in their educational work. The tasks of the Educational and Methodological Department: The department organizes, controls and manages educational work at the institute. Organizes the educational process in accordance with the curricula and programs in the manner established by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan; control and analysis of the implementation of regulatory documents related to the educational process in the faculties in accordance with the needs of modern students, the introduction of the latest innovations related to the educational system at the institute into the educational process, organizing seminars among professors and teachers in this regard and monitoring its implementation; improving the educational process of the institute based on advanced scientific achievements, providing the institute's structures with state educational standards and basic educational documents; organizing the introduction of advanced pedagogical information technologies into the educational process; constantly monitoring and analyzing the level of provision of educational literature and methodological guidelines in the subjects at the institute; improving curricula and programs in accordance with modern requirements; monitoring the implementation of curricula and assignments by the faculty of the institute; checking the organization of the educational process in the faculties on the basis of raids, and bringing to the attention of deans the shortcomings identified as a result of the control; studies the work of the department and summarizes its experience, monitors the implementation of lesson plans and classes; manages the structure of the teaching load for the new academic year and, on this basis, determines the staffing table of the departments together with the planning department; ensures and monitors the implementation of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education, Presidential Decrees, Orders, Resolutions, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Board resolutions, orders, instructions, modemgrams and telephonegrams of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, as well as the orders of the rector in faculties, departments, departments; prepares documents for compiling the staffing table at the institute, exercises control over the implementation of teaching loads; formalizes documents of substitute and hourly teachers, organizes and coordinates the distribution of hourly teaching funds; studies the activities of the faculties and departments of the institute on educational issues; organizing a competition for professors and teachers; introducing advanced foreign experiences into the educational process; coordinating the activities of academic lyceums and technical schools in terms of teaching and methodology; The teaching and methodological department is staffed by a head, specialist, methodologist, and dispatcher.
