About of Computer Engineering Department The Computer Engineering Department focuses on the study of computer systems, software, and hardware, integrating concepts from both computer science and electrical engineering. The department prepares students for careers in software development, hardware engineering, network management, and cyber security. Students gain hands-on experience through projects, lab work, and internships, learning to design, implement, and manage computing systems and technologies. Faculty members typically have expertise in areas like computer science, electronics, and information technology. Explore Our Programs Earn a Engineering Degree at Sambhram University through full-time Undergraduate (UG). Undergraduate Program (B.Tech): The Computer Engineering Department at Sambhram University offers a 4-year full-time B.Tech IT with specialization in Software, Hardware, and Networking. It covers areas such as Programming, Algorithms, Data Structures, Computer Networks, Databases, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Logic Design. Upon successful completion, students earn a Certificate of Merit, enhancing their resumes and signaling a commitment to lifelong learning. The Department plans to implement the following activities in the upcoming years: In the field of Scientific Research and Cooperation: Taking into account global trends in the field of information technologies, the department will implement the following measures to develop scientific research and expand international cooperation: Digital transformation: Conducting research aimed at solving modern problems of information technologies, including in-depth study of artificial intelligence, block-chain, big data and cyber-security. Scientific cooperation: Strengthening cooperation with prestigious national and international scientific centers, participation in various scientific projects. Increasing scientific potential: Encouraging the publication of scientific articles by professors and teachers of the department, increasing the share of specialists with scientific degrees to at least 70%. Support for doctoral dissertations: Discussion of work carried out by independent researchers, assistance in the faster completion of dissertations through scientific councils. State grants and industrial orders: Launching scientific projects based on state grants and private sector orders aimed at solving real problems of information technologies in industry. International and scientific events: In order to expand scientific and practical activities in information technologies and attract students and young scientists to scientific activities: International conferences: Organization of international scientific and practical conferences and seminars on modern technologies and their problems. Support for talented students: Preparing young scientists and students to participate in international competitions and assisting in financing their scientific projects. Innovative developments: Commercialization and introduction into production of innovative projects created by students and professors. Mentoring system: Creating opportunities for talented students to work on scientific projects under the guidance of professors and teachers. Modern technologies and education: To improve the quality of education and prepare students as specialists who are relevant to the modern labor market: Development of a digital learning environment: Expanding distance learning opportunities for students, organizing online courses and virtual laboratories. Interactive teaching methods: Using artificial intelligence, digital laboratories and virtual reality tools in lectures and practical classes. Updating curricula: Introducing new subjects in modern areas of information technology. Faculty members in B.Tech departments are typically experts in their respective engineering disciplines, holding advanced degrees (like M.Tech, M.E, or Ph.D) and having significant experience in both academia and industry. The department trains Bachelors of Technology IT in the field of “Computer Engineering”. The department consists a total of 15 Staff Members. Currently in this 3 staff members are under their research work. The B.Tech Faculty is supported by a team of experienced and highly qualified faculty members, including: Total Staff Members - 15 Doctors of Philosophy - 2 Assistant Professors - 9 Senior Teachers - 1 Translators - 3 They are responsible for delivering lecturers, conducting practical sessions, mentoring students, supervising research projects, and engaging in scholarly research.
