Department of Fundamental, Social and Humanitarian Sciences

The Department of “Fundamental, Social and Humanitarian Sciences” is one of the important scientific and pedagogical structures established to improve the modern education system and strengthen interdisciplinary integration. This department was formed by merging the departments of “Fundamental Sciences” and “Social and Humanitarian Sciences” that previously operated at Jizzakh SAMBHRAM University.

The professors and teachers of the department conduct classes for all undergraduate and graduate specialties at the university. This indicates the high role and importance of the department at the university. In the educational process, along with theoretical knowledge, special attention is paid to developing students' independent thinking skills, preparing them for social life and forming a broad worldview.

Currently, a total of 17 professors and teachers work at the department. Their composition is as follows: 4 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), 8 senior teachers and 5 teachers. A total of 14.5 staff units are allocated to organize the educational process, among which the head of the department, associate professors, senior teachers and assistant teachers work.

The scientific potential of the department is also quite high, and various research works are being carried out by professors and teachers. In particular, senior teachers Suyunova G.Kh., Sharipov S.S., Shodiyarova M.T. and teachers Suvankulova M.B. and Shukurova L.Sh. are engaged in scientific research and contribute to the development of science.

One of the main tasks of the department is to provide students with fundamental knowledge, as well as to deepen their knowledge in social and humanitarian sciences. Through this, students will have a broad idea not only of their specialty, but also of society, culture, history and the development of humanity.
