Information Technology Engineering

The Department of “Information Technology Engineering” was established in 2024 on the initiative of the rector of the university, Professor D. Khusanov, in order to develop modern education and scientific activity. Since its establishment, this department has been operating in a short time and has begun to train qualified specialists in the field of information technologies. Since September 18, 2024, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technical Sciences Alishev Sherkozi Abdumannonovich has been appointed head of the department and has been working effectively in this position to this day.

The main goal of the department is to train competitive personnel with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of modern information technologies. For this purpose, the department trains bachelor's degree students in the field of “Information Technology Engineering”. The educational process is organized in a way that combines theoretical knowledge with practical training, laboratory work and real projects.

Currently, the department has a total of 13 employees. 10 of them are professors and teachers, 3 of whom are translators. The department has 2 doctors of philosophy (PhD), 1 senior lecturer and 7 teachers. The teaching staff, in addition to sharing their knowledge and experience with students, is also actively engaged in research.

The subjects taught at the department are also very broad and modern. These include programming languages ​​(C, C++, Java, Python), data structures and algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, database systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, blockchain technologies, cloud computing, IoT (Internet of Things), robotics and many other subjects. Through these subjects, students gain in-depth knowledge and skills in various areas of the IT industry.
